 Building
IIDS is located at Mandikhatar in Kathmandu.
IIDS is adequately equipped with logistics and
modern electronic equipment such as photocopiers,
computers, laser printer, fax, email and internet
to support the various research programmes.
Library
The Institute has a
well-equipped library, which is managed by
CDS/ISIS—a UN package for library management. The
Library comprises the background and discussion
papers presented at seminars and workshops by
members of staff on behalf of the Institute and
research and study reports prepared by it. It also
has more than 1,600 books and 2,500 periodicals
covering subjects ranging from economics to
political science, sociology, anthropology,
management, language, statistics, information
science and so on.
